I read this post today over at www.gwenbell.com about making mistakes and it's really got me thinking. Why are we so afraid of making mistakes and why do we sometimes find it so hard to admit we've made one? And more importantly what are we missing out on because we're too afraid of making a mistake to give it a go? As Gwen says at the end of her post "Mistakes are life mulch. They let you breathe a bit. They make life richer, give you room to grow.... Go on, now. Make a mistake, discover something new."
* You may recognise the photo above from back in May - well the not so perfect version of it! A definite mistake but I actually love this photo, hence still having it in my collection.
