This is one of my favourite restaurants in Melbourne which is in a great little laneway. There is art all up and down both sides but I love the little faces on the wall here.

Five Things That Made For A Great Weekend

This weekend I went away for a friend’s birthday with a group of mates. It was a brilliant weekend with lots of fun and laughs. Five highlights were:
1. Great company
2. Good food and drinks and plenty of it
3. Sitting around a bonfire
4. Waking up to the sound of birds
5. Feeling totally relaxed

It's been a busy week and it's going to be a busy month but it's all wonderfully fun busy-ness. Nevertheless there should always be time to stop and smell the roses. On that note I'm looking forward to a relaxing weekend in the country and taking some time to recharge the batteries ready for more craziness on my return. Take some time out yourself this weekend to stop and smell the roses - you won't be disappointed.

Comedy Festival

Melbourne International Comedy Festival starts today. It's a brilliant time of year to be in Melbourne as the city really comes alive. It's going to be a fun four weeks.

Life is crazy busy right now. It's mixed with good busy and not so desirable busy but all in all it's a good buzz, although it's making me feel like I'm in a spin at times. It's times like this when I really need to remind myself to stop for a minute and appreciate where I am and what I'm doing. Like stopping to look up and see something amazing like this old building. I think though it's best summed up by this mantra which I am saying to myself everyday..... "You are writing the story of your only life every single minute of every day"

Riding home the other night I noticed this down a side street that I ride past all the time. I don't know if it's new or if I've just never noticed but the colours are beautiful. Reminds me of Canadian geese.
