Today is Melbourne Cup Day - a horse race that as the spiel goes "stops a nation". We do get a day off for it, so I don't have any complaints. I watched the race in Federation Square which was fun, although wet at times. I also backed both the first and second placed horses (Americain and Maluckyday) so I won some money on it as well. A good day all round really.

Melbourne Cup Day
