Local Cider

I'm in the country this weekend for a friend's wedding and the perfect Friday afternoon is a local cider with good mates. The cider was delicious too.

Webs

I almost walked into this web this morning as it was right outside our back door. The spiders are so busy at the moment there seem to be webs everywhere.

I found this guy down a side street. Funny that it's quite near where I live yet I've never walked down there. It was a good surprise to find this.

Sick Day

I'm home today, not feeling great. It's shame on such a beautiful day to spend it mainly in bed but I did manage to get to the park and read a book for a while.

Believe

I have decided to give away my "Five Things" lists for 2011, it's time for a change. Instead I thought that on a Monday I might share with you quotes that I love. I mean, who doesn't need some inspiration on a Monday?

Anyway as an aside, last year I was inspired by Susannah to chose a word for my year and 2010's word was FOCUS. It served me well and, excuse the pun, helped me to stay focussed on what really mattered to me. As a result I am going to chose a word again for 2011 and this year I have chosen BELIEVE. I want to practice believing in my dreams, believing in possibility and most of all believing in myself.

So my fist quote I want to share with you is one I read recently on Karen's blog....

Happy New Year

It's been a long day but a good day and I'm exhausted. I can't wait to just fall in to bed and dream sweet sweet dreams. Happy New Year everyone and welcome to 2011.
